Q: What inspired you to start learning your instrument?

A: I wanted to start playing the piano because my sister [Ella] was playing an instrument and I like classical music.

Q: What do you enjoy most about playing your instrument?

A: The thing I love most about playing the piano is that I can play anything I want to and can keep on progressing.

Q: What advice would you give to someone performing for the first time?

A: The advice I would give is not to be nervous and if you go wrong it doesn't matter, just carry on and enjoy the experience.

Q: What are your musical aspirations?

A: My aim is to be a music teacher and to be in an orchestra.

When she is not practising the piano, Yvie enjoys reading, art and playing on the computer.
